These Terms of Use govern your use of the iOS application “Saturday Unfolds” (the “App”) provided by TKLab (the “Operator”).
1. Scope
- These Terms apply to all matters between the Operator and users relating to use of the App.
- Where terms set by the App Store or another third party apply, users must also comply with those terms.
2. Agreement
- By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
- Minors should obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.
3. App Functionality
- The App is primarily designed to keep short notes entered on weekdays hidden until Saturday and then make them available to view.
- The Operator may change features, presentation, themes, supported environments, or other aspects of the App as needed.
- The App does not guarantee any particular behavior, result, psychological effect, or other outcome.
4. Operating Environment
- You are responsible for providing, at your own cost, the device, operating system, internet connection, and other environment needed to use the App.
- Supported environments are described on the App Store product page.
5. Data Storage
- Notes and settings entered in the App are generally handled on the user's device.
- Data may be lost due to device failure, loss, reset, OS updates, deletion of the App, or other circumstances.
- The Operator does not guarantee complete preservation or recovery of data stored on the user's device.
6. Purchase and Payment
- The free trial and lifetime access are obtained through Apple's in-app purchase system.
- Please check the price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase.
- Purchases, billing, refunds, and other App Store payment matters are subject to Apple's applicable terms and procedures.
Free Trial and Lifetime Access
At the start of your first use, choose “Start 14-day Trial” to obtain the free non-consumable in-app purchase. All themes are available for 14 days. Restarting the app does not reset the trial.
After the trial, writing new notes requires a one-time non-consumable lifetime purchase: ¥200 in the Japanese App Store. There is no subscription or automatic charge. Check the purchase screen for the price in your storefront.
Trial expiry does not delete saved notes. They can still be opened at the scheduled Saturday 7 a.m., checked off, and replayed. As before, notes reset the following Monday. The app does not provide a permanent archive.
People who obtained the previous version retain access at no additional charge. After reinstalling or changing devices, use the same Apple Account and choose “Restore Purchases” in Settings. Restoring purchases does not restore notes.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You must not violate applicable law or public order, interfere with operation of the App, unlawfully analyze, modify or redistribute the App, or infringe the rights of the Operator or any third party.
8. Intellectual Property
Rights in the App's design, text, software, and other content belong to the Operator or the applicable rights holder.
9. Disclaimer
- The Operator does not warrant that the App will be completely free from defects or legal issues.
- Except where caused by the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator will not be liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the App to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes or Discontinuation
The Operator may change or discontinue the App when necessary.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Operator may amend these Terms in compliance with applicable law. Material changes will be announced on this site or in the App.
